She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Imbriani and Marie Imbriani; her husband Harry Schaffer; her brother Ralph Imbriani; and her son-in-law Doug Mischler.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Nelson (Meredith), Jennifer Sransky (James), Karen Mischler, Kathy Hodges (Steve) and Harry Schaffer (Sue). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
