He is survived by: his wife Margarita; his children, Carlos Velázquez (Monica) of Belton, MO and Esther Morgan (David) of Stuart, FL; his brother Aramis Velázquez (Zoraida) of Miami, FL; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Marianne and Melinda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and two lovely great-grandsons.
