He was predeceased by: his father George Gerber. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Gerber; his son Jeffrey Gerber; his granddaughter Kendra A. Gerber; his brothers, Bob Gerber and Rick Gerber (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann and Joseph Garofalo. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nephews and a loving niece.
