She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Nobbs and Stanley Nobbs; her sisters, Jane King (Nobbs) and Judith Webber (Nobbs); and her brother-in-law Paul N. King.
She is survived by: her husband James Brown; her daughter Carla Lucas (Darren); her grandson Max; and her brother-in-law Edgar Webber. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made in Gail's memory to the University of Massachusetts Amherst's Department of Sociology within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
