She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Bush and Dorothy Barber Bush; her husband James "Pete" Swanson; her parents-in-law, James Robert Swanson and Mildred Keefe Swanson; and her siblings-in-law, Phil Carlson, Robert Swanson, Pat Bush and Ina Ruth Swanson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Swanson (Tamala) of Norman Park, GA, Steve Swanson (Trudy) of Hilliard, FL, Julie Smith (David) of Hilliard, FL and Susan Swanson of Hilliard, FL; her siblings, William Bush of Sparks, GA, Joyce Carlson of San Antonio, TX and Grace Chapman of Greer, SC; her grandchildren, Jared Peek (Amber), Ashley Mitchell, Paige Grandas (Neal), Jared Swanson (Jana), Brooke Kasper (John), Kristen Reid (Scotty) and Anthony Smith; and her great grandchildren, Eisley Grandas, Willow Grandas, Jake Swanson, Ezra Reid, Raiden Reid, Payton Jones, Natalie Peek, Austin Peek and Makenna Mitchell. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the River Road Baptist Church (21067 Co Rd 121, Hilliard, FL 32046).
