He was predeceased by: his mother Nell Young; his former wife Gloria Young; and his granddaughter Meghan N. Knight. He is survived by: his children, Phillip W. Young (Sandra) of La Union, NM, Gail R. Godwin (Glenn) of Hilliard, FL and Pamela N. Young of St. Johns, FL; his grandchildren, Jason R. Garland of Jacksonville, FL, Elisandra Garcia of Portland, OR, Jacob G. Godwin of Hilliard, FL, Jeffrey R. Grantham, Joshua E. Grantham of St John's, FL and Diego R. Young of La Union, NM; his wife Reba Young of Jacksonville, FL; and his sisters, Ann and Barbara. He is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Live Oak Cemetery.
