He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Webster (Mac) and Mildred Culbertson McConnell; and his sister Victoria McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Janet McConnell; his sons, Ricky McConnell (Nicole) and Brett McConnell (Carol); his grandchildren, Brianna Chafin (Shawn), TaRanda McConnell, Caleb Daugherty (Brooke), Morgan Wilson, Tanner McConnell (Erica) of Augusta, GA and Gage McConnell; his great grandchildren, Teagan Guzman, Memphis, Mallory, McKenna and Maebry Chafin; and his siblings, Rhonda Daughtry and Donald McConnell (Kathy) of Midland, TX. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces, and a multitude of lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the funeral home in Richard's name to help cover the costs of services.
