It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Garland Farris Jr. of Hilliard, Florida, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Farris Sr. and Judy StClaire Carter; his stepfather James Carter; and his sister Janet McKinnon. He is survived by: his wife Gayle VanZant Farris; his children, Michael Farris (Breanna), Jay Farris (Victoria) and Megan Farris (Tyler); his siblings, Jammie Carter, Billy Utt (Jackie) and Jeanne Adams (Robert); and his grandchildren, Landry, Rylan, Emberlyn, Rowan and Nolia.
