With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dana E. Wine of Hilliard, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dana may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wine and Frena Heath Wine; his wife Shirley; and his son Dana Wine, II. He is survived by: his children, Sheila McMillan (Randy) of Jacksonville, FL and Earnie Wine (Beth) of Hilliard, FL; his granddaughter Kelly Antonio (George) of Jacksonville, FL; and his great grandchild Callan Antonio.

“Our condolences to Earnie, Beth, Sheila, and your families. We are sorry for your loss. It was a short trek through the woods to go to Earnie’s, so I spent a lot of time at the Wine’s house growing up, all of which I have good memories of. Dana often seemed like a father figure for me, as well as being a good Dad for his children. He was pretty cool, easy going, always had a smile, and a ready laugh. He will be missed.
