He is survived by: his wife Linda Gail Murrhee Smith; his children, Charles Tuley Smith, III and Jennifer Rivera (Alberto); his brothers, James Smith and Michael Smith (April); his grandson Luis Rivera; his nephew Jacob Shuemaker; and his niece Trish Johns. He is also survived by several other nephews and nieces.
