He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Adams and Thelma Adams; and his siblings, Donnie, Mildred Grainger and Joyce Kimbal.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Gertrude Ayers Adams of Highland City; his sons, Lonnie E. Adams, Jr. of Fort Meade, Roger D. Adams (Gaila) of Wauchula and Scott Adams of Winter Haven; and his brother Fred Adams (Brenda). He is also survived by two grandsons, one granddaughter, three great grandsons and six great granddaughters.
