He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Lindsey and Joe Lindsey; his wife Jessie Lee Lindsey; and his siblings, Betty Summers, Mary Ann Lindsey and Willard Lindsey.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Lindsey Smith, Scot Lindsey (Janet) and Staci Smallwood (Lamar); his grandchildren, Stephanie Smith, Jami Lindsey Echeverri (Jonathan), Hunter Lindsey (Abigail), Lindsey, Lauren and Landon Smallwood; his great grandchild Eliza Lindsey; his sister Joyce Lindsey; and his siblings-in-law, Bud Roberts (Sandra) and Dell Long.
