He was predeceased by : his parents, Hollie Dale Arthur and Ruth Naomi Arthur. He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Arthur of High Springs, FL; his daughter Peggy Sue Miller of West Virginia; his stepson Lonnie Metz (Stacy) of Summerville, SC; his grandchildren, Calah, Reece Clayton of Belmont, NC, Austin, Sydney Metz of Etters, PA and Savannah Metz of Summerville, SC; and his great grandchildren, Gunner, June, Wyatt and Archer.

A funeral service was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Spring Ridge Cemetery (5529 NE 52nd Pl, High Springs, FL 32643). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Spring Ridge Church of God (5529 NE 52nd Pl, High Springs, FL 32643).
