He was predeceased by: his son Michael Lamont. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Vickie Huber (Bill), William R. R. Lamont (Donna), Jennifer Lamont, Kerry Jagdeosingh (AJ), Wendy Chambers (Bruce) and Lisa Jomolca; his brother Robert Lamont (Paula); and his sister-in-law June Lamont. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
