It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benil Committal (Hialeah, Florida), born in Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on June 22, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Maria and Margarita Cisneros; her aunt Gregoria "Pura" Hinojosa; her siblings, Edmundo, Oscar, Jose Cisneros, Margarita "Maggie" Montalvo and Emma Fangmann; her husband Cesareo "Abel" Salazar; her sons, Robert Salazar (Cristina) and David Salazar (Diane); her grandchildren, Daniel Salazar, Steven, Ryan, Alisha, Siera Salazar and David Jr.; and her sister Hortencia "Tencha" Tijerina. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations be made to an Alzheimer's charity of one's choice in memory of Benilde "Bennie" Salazar.
