She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas T. Welch and Sophie Marguerite Schmauch Welch; her husband James E. Adkins; her brothers, J. D. Welch and Larry Welch; her daughter Sheila Brown (Harry Brown) of Erlanger, KY; her grandsons, Taylor Brown and James VanHoose; and her great grandchild Kooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Mitzi VanHoose (Walton "Sonny") of Hernando, FL; her grandchildren, Kelly Desmond, Lisha Garner, Nicholas Brown, Ryan Brown, Jordan Brown and Katie Brown; her great grandchildren, Kylee Desmond, Aden James VanHoose, Layla VanHoose, Lyndsie, Madison Wilson, Caden Brown, Gabriella Brown, Piper Brown, Blair Brown, Harry Brown and Cohen Brown; and her great great grandchild Baiden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
