Owin H. Chance Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Owin H. Chance (Hernando, Florida), born in Millen, Georgia, who passed away on May 4, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Owin H. Chance to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Owin Chance and Julia Mae Chance (Brinson); his sons, Ronnie Chance and Donald Chance; and his sister Juanita Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Dora; his children, Mike Chance of Lake City, Ronald Alvarez (Tawanna) of Sylvester, GA and Gloria Penley of Berlin, GA; his daughter-in-law Elly Chance of Jacksonville; and his sisters, Alberta Fowler (Gene) and Roberta McCaffery. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a limited funeral service for the family will be held 1:00PM, Friday, May 8, 2020 in the First Baptist Church of Wildwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Owin's honor to the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, Building Fund, 402 Oxford St, Wildwood, FL 34785.
