With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria D. McIver-Smith of Hernando, Florida, born in Scottsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Moss and Murtle Swindle-Moss; her former husband Donald O. McIver; her children, David, Jeff McIver and Debbie Johnson; her grandson Greg McIver; and her daughter-in-law Debbie McIver.
She is survived by: her husband Norman J. Smith; her children, James McIver (Pinky) and Anita Cabrera (Luisa); and her grandchildren, Jason McIver (Jenny), Jamie Tobin (Shane), Wesley McIver, Jena Hall (Terrell), Adam McIver, Cassie Messer, Andy McIver, Josh Tucker, Bryan Phillips, Travis Cabrera, Danielle, Amber Cabrera, John Luke and Rachel Cabrera. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and daughters-in-law.
