It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clara Shelby of Hernando Beach, Florida, born in Washington, Indiana, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Baynes and Elizabeth Baynes (Brooks); her husband Harold Shelby; her siblings, Brooks Baynes and Ruth Ansberry; her granddaughter Salah Shelby Stanley; and also Jim Greig.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Shelby (Beth), Edward Shelby (Sandy) and Barbara Shelby; her grandchildren, Rachel Bishop (Greg), Dan Shelby (Amanda), Allyson Shelby and Brandon Stanley; her great grandchildren, Julia Clare Shelby, Edwin Shelby, Augusta Shelby, Katherine Bishop, Rebecca Bishop, Henry Bishop, Ruth Bishop, Prudence Claybourn, James Claybourn and Everhett Stanley; her sister-in-law Jane Baynes; and her grandson Jack. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the national health crisis, masks are required and social distancing should be observed.
