He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Seal and Valrie Steward Simoneaux; and his brother Randall Scott Simoneaux. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his daughters, Sarah, Robin and Allie (Hunter); his sisters-in-law, Mona Simoneaux and Joyce Johanningmeier; and his nieces, Jessica Burke and Leah Mathis.
