She was predeceased by: her sons, John William Smith and Edward Thomas Smith; and her former husband Jeffrey John Smith. She is survived by: her children, Kara Seifridsberger (Curt) of Wynantskill, NY and Scotti Fisher (Derek) of Hawthorne, FL.; her grandchildren, Nicholas Seifridsberger, Kiersten Smith, Christopher, Carson, Camden, Caelan and Carter Fisher; and her great grandchildren, Maddyn and Owen Sisco.
Before she passed, Juanita decided to donate her body to medical research.
