Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Howard Ray Prouty (Hawthorne, Florida), born in Manchester, Vermont, who passed away, on February 7, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Prouty and Etta Prouty (Jefts); his son David Lyn Prouty; and his wives, Joan Prouty (Rawson) and Ella Prouty (Barrett).

He is survived by: his daughter Laura Mae Fillion (Leopold); his stepson Cornelius Burnham; and his daughter-in-law Terry Prouty. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: West Putnam Volunteer Fire Dept. 104 Race St. Hawthorne FL 32640.
