She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Gordon and Gladys Gordon; her daughter Elouise Cooper; and her siblings, Gussie Flowers, Elree Cuthbert and Leon Gordon.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Jackson; her children, Iradine Cooper, Barbara White (Wallace) and Sylvia Brown (Duncan); her stepchildren, Matira Jackson, Yadira Watkins (Jerry) and Arnulfo Jackson (Dell); her siblings, Almetta Thompkins, Roosevelt Gordon, Charlene McDonald (Edward), Jennie Hayes (William), Earl Gordon (Evelyn), Nora Donley (Roger), Rosa Harris (John) and Joseph Scott (Melanie); her uncle Joseph William, Sr.; and her aunt Mary Strickland. She is also survived by Four Granddaughters, One Grandson, Seven Great Granddaughters, Four Great Grandsons and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
