It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Alexander Mercer (Hawthorne, Florida), who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Alexander Mercer Sr. and Eugertha Brown. He is survived by: his brothers, Church and Pastor Ashmead; his wife Bernice Mercer; his adoptive sons, Luevelle Mercer and Leland Mercer (Rachel); his close friends, Elder Mervin Girtman, Jean Williams, Priscilla Wright, Esther Bruce, Sheila, Luis Rhodes, Laura Dismukes and Elder Arthur Scott; and also Elder Sumpter. He is also survived by seven grandkids.
