He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Barber and Annette Barber; and his sister Mary Dutton. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson Barber; and his siblings, Ronal Barber (Diann) of Jasonville, IN, Edward Barber (Cassie) of Tallahassee, FL, Samuel Barber (Debbie) of Havana, FL, Gail Finley of Crawfordville, FL and Lisa Weaver (Clayton) of Havana, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
