It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myra Phillips (Havana, Florida), born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Verda Mae (Carter) and Cecil Joseph Whittle; her son Michael Alan; her husband Paul Phillips; and her siblings, Edwina Hauversburk, Winston Whittle and Quentin Whittle.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Elaine (Paul) of Tallahassee, Jill Darlene (Tim) of Tallahassee and Paula Spencer of Tallahassee; her grandchildren, Cameron Cooper (Tanya), Ed Wood (Bryce) and Kaleb Murphy of Tallahassee; her great grandchildren, Syvannah Kois (Gabe) of Dallas, TX, Gracye Wood, Campbell Wood and Cooper Wood of Tallahassee; and her great great grandchild Maverick Kois. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests donations to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32308.

“The loss of such a dear, sweet friend is heart-breaking. Myra was a beautiful woman of god inside and out, and will always be remembered by our woodmont bible study group. What a privilege to have been a part of myra's life for these past 4 years and observe her great faithfulness and desire to hear and study the bible. Her smile, kind words, and lovely singing voice will be sorely missed, but thankfully, we will be reunited forever in eternity because of jesus! Much love, sue and dave duris”
