She was predeceased by: her parents, James Meredith and Tinnie Meredith; her husband Lawrence Byrd; her siblings, James, John Meredith and Mary Lee; her brother-in-law William Harrell; her nieces, Brenda Hall, Mary Louise and Patricia Ann Porter; and her nephew Wendell Hosey.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Byrd of Quincy, Laura Foss (Brian) of Monticello and Michelle Hosey; and her sisters, Lee Gibbs (Luke) of Tallahassee and Ida Lee Harrell of Sopchoppy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fellowship Assembly of God Church (5932 Bristol Hwy, Quincy, FL 32351).
