He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Lowe and Lois Vickers Lowe; and his sisters, Hazel Davis, Faye Stanley and Betty Butler.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hawthorne Lowe of Havana; his daughter Carol Lowe Bert (Chip) of Tallahassee; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Bert and Chad Bert of Tallahassee.
