He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Jordan and Mary Wideman; his wife Alice Wideman; his daughter Mary White; and his sisters, Irene Davis, Ruth Burnett and Juanita Rivers.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Wideman, Jr., Sylvia Wideman and Susan James; his siblings, Abe Andrews, Betty Schumpert, Deloris Collins, Avon Miles, Eyvonne Smith and Sharon Jordan Hollie; and his cousins, Allen Hall and Esther Thomas. He is also survived by grandchildren, (8) great grandchildren, a loving amount of great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.
