He was predeceased by: his parent Andrew Joseph. He is survived by: his parent Belva Vetter; his wife Suzanna Schuyler-Vetter of Hastings; his children, Andrew Johnson of Hastings and Christy Borza (Chris); his siblings, Barbara Roberts (John), John Vetter (Michelle), Jacksonville and Will Vetter (Pam); and also Jacksonville. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the Nez Perce Appaloosa Club, the Chief Joseph Foundation, or the Chief Joseph Trail Ride Youth Experience.
