He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cave and Geneva Cave; and his siblings, Ernest James "EJ" Cave and Tommacenia Cave. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cave (Randall); his sons, Fred and Fredrick E of Cave, II.; his siblings, Rosetta James (Allen) and Bishop Thomas Cave, III (Phyllis); his uncles, Herbert Schoolfield of Pocomoke City, William Schoolfield (Barbara) of Pocomoke City and Wesley Sturgis of Pocomoke City; his nieces, Aundrea Harris and Brenda Ware; his nephew Roscoe Hill-Cave; his goddaughter Kim Felder; and also Bishop Thomas Cave III.
