He was predeceased by: his wife Susie Mae Walker; and his son-in-law David Unkelbach. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Kay Unkelbach of Jacksonville and Jeana Duval (Phil) of Sanderson, Florida; his stepchildren, Jeannie Baker (Charlie) of Hampton, Wendy Williams of Starke, Florida and Eddie Lloyd of Starke, Florida; his grandsons, Klate Duval (Karyn) and Dane Unkelbach; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kenadee and Kade; and his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Baker, Lee, Chris and Tim Chastain. He is also survived by seven step-great-grandchildren.
