He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Cody" and Wavie Mae Priest (Quattelbaum); and his son Glenn Cody Priest. He is survived by: his wife Linda Priest (Armstrong) of Hampton; and his daughters, Virginia Epps (Bruce) of Cape Coral, Pamela Wood (Bob) of Gloucester, Tracy Cranford (Paul) of Milford and Shelly Taylor of Fort Myers.
