He is survived by: his husband Scott Leaver of Rossville; his mother Betty Lou Porter of Parksley, Virginia; his brothers, Chris Porter of Greenwood and Bill Porter of Lewes, Delaware; his niece Katie Porter of Georgetown, Delaware; his nephew Chris Porter Jr. of Greenwood, Delaware; his foster mother Cora Tennefoss of Greenwood, Delaware; and his close friend Jeff Lazarus of Sunrise.
