It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip James Hinkle (Haines City, Florida), born in Vero Beach, Florida, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Janet Fricke; his children, Amber Lynn Cameron (Dan) of Fort Mill, SC, Ashley Marie Jones (Charlie) of Gainesville, FL and Michael Philip Hinkle (Cynthia) of Winter Garden, FL.; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Daniel Cameron, Hannah Kay Cameron, Jordan Lynn Cameron, Ella Marie Jones and Austin Michael Hinkle; his siblings, Susie Howard of Vero Beach, FL, Judy Luke (David) of Vero Beach, FL, Donna Hinkle of Haines City, FL, Cynthia Walker (Glenn) of Vero Beach, FL, Thomas Hinkle (Cathy) of Fellsmere, FL and Betty Nobles of Vero Beach, FL.; his parents, Donald William Hinkle and Rosemary Gloria Hinkle; and his grandson Elijah James Cameron. He is also survived by many loving brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

For anyone attending in person masks are required and the family would appreciate honoring social distancing as best as possible.

As the executive director of the FVMA he supported and played an important role in welcoming our incoming first year veterinary students. He was also instrumental in welcoming recent veterinary graduates to the veterinary profession. I will miss his leadership, positive energy and enthusiasm. Fly high my friend.”
