He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon McTeer and Annabelle Varnadoe McTeer; his children, Bert McTeer and Pam Causey; and his siblings, Ted, Bobby McTeer, Eleanor Walsh, Doris Maxwell, Arlene Emenaker, Merle Jones and Shirley Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes; his daughter Brenda McTeer; his son-in-law Robert Causey; and his brothers, Everett and Fred McTeer. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
