He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Nada Gentleman; his children, Jan Carol Sortore (Ray Davis) of Spring Hill, Kansas and George "Skip" Hupp (Lois) of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Chiraboga (Walter) of Spring Hill, Kansas, Mary Melissa Craft (Stephen) of Columbus, Ohio, Amy Louise Hupp of Ottawa, George C. "Brian" Hupp IV (Jessica) of Raymore, Missouri and Meredith Elaine Leatherwood (Frederick Brent) of Nashville, Tennessee. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions therefore may be made to PolioPlus, a program wherein Rotary International has eradicated polio from all but two countries in the world.
