She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Burrell and Dorothy Grace Knapp; her former husband Vance I. Way; her husband James N. Lawhorn; and her brother Chester Knapp.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy W. Svalberg (Brad) of Gilford, CT and Thomas V. Way (Sharlotte) of Lebanon, OH; her stepdaughters, Diane McLean (Richard) of Knoxville, TN and Celia Lawren of Knoxville, TN; and her siblings, Bruce Knapp (Kathy) of Dansville, NY, Ruth Giles of Alexandria, VA and Marilyn Richards of Beverly Hills, FL. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
