He was predeceased by: his daughter Denise Waltz; his grandparents, Harry, Zelmna Waltz, Elizabeth Reeves and Jesse Talley; and his great-grandparents, Sam, Myrtle Talley, Reynolds and Esther Miller.
He is survived by: his parents, Alfred Waltz and Wanda Waltz (Talley) of Bartow; his siblings, Kathy Waltz of Bartow, James Waltz (Serena) and Ted Waltz (Arlene) of Bartow; his son Tattoo M. Lockheart of Lakeland; and his nieces and nephews, Justin Waltz (Dani), Ryan Waltz (Kayla), Trevor Waltz (Kassidy), Ashlee Soder (Eddie), Tiffany Haag (Chris) and Autumn King (Justin).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the American SIDS Institute.
