She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bates and Edith Coombs Bates; her husband Ernest Allen; and her son Bradley Amo. She is survived by: her children, Richard T. Amo, Jr., Debra Arnold, Winifred Burgess, Jeffrey Amo and Michelle Pickett; and her siblings, Ethel Williams, Ritchie Bates and Diane Alvarino. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
