She was predeceased by: her parents, Adele Reilly and Bernard Reilly. She is survived by: her husband Robert Nelson; her sons, John (Jillian) and Mark Nelson (Ewelina); her sisters, Nancy Prentice (Sheldon) and Adele Grant; her granddaughter Lily Nelson; and her sister-in-law Bijette Gebron (Jim).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
