He was predeceased by: his parents, William Otto Godwin and Revor Mae Godwin (Eddins); his wife Barbara Louise Pinney (Bobbie); and his daughter Deborah Snipes (Sidney). He is survived by: his siblings, Bobbie Carroll of Pensacola, FL and Rick Godwin of Gulf Breeze, FL; his daughters, Beverley Garcia (Larry) of El Paso, Texas, Melissa Eagley (Ray) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Dena Hernandez (Danny) of Washington, DC.; his grandchildren, Andrea Pecukaitis (Michael) of Arnold, MD, Marla White (Wade) of El Paso, TX, Michael Garcia (Kara) of Rio Rancho, NM, Ryan Garcia (Dorothy), Gillian Moderow (Taylor) of Dayton, OH, Tanner Eagley of Palmer, AK, Maddie Roop (Wyatt) of Portland, OR and Chase Hernandez of Washington, DC.; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Pecukaitis, Billy, Wyler White, Fiona, Jack Garcia, Penelope Moderow and Waylon Eagley.
