He was predeceased by: his sister Marilyn; and his brother-in-law Donald Bittner. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sieg of Gulf Breeze, FL; his daughter Deanne; his son-in-law Brett Bialowas of Charlotte, NC; his sons, Ryan (Brandi Sieg) and Brandon (Tracy Sieg); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sieg, Courtney Lafferty, Brooke Bialowas, Ashton Sieg, Landon Sieg and Evan Bialowas; and his great grandchild Sage Lafferty.
