He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Bridwell and Lola Griffin; his spouse Helga Pokluda; and his grandparents, Noah and Hallie Bridwell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society and/or Diabetes Association.
