With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Lance Andersen Reese of Gulf Breeze, Florida, born in Pensacola, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Hudson Reese and Doris Andersen Reese. He is survived by: his wife Jamie Gingles; his children, Dr. Lance Reese (Ivy) of Gulf Breeze, Eric Reese (Bridget) of Baton Rouge, Sheri Thistlethwaite (Ric) of Washington, LA, Michelle Partenheimer (Ingolf) of Baton Rouge, Noelle Reese of Gambrills, MD, John Stanhagen (Debbie) of Gulf Breeze and Meredith Davis (Frank) of Gulf Breeze; his grandchildren, Emma Reese, Alex Reese, Ryan Reese, Christopher Hebert, Brent Stanhagen, Katie Bonner (Seth), Hayden Davis (Rebecca) and Hunter Davis (Haley); and his great grandchildren, Shepard Davis, Brady Davis and Emily Bonner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel (2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gulf Breeze Volunteer Fire Department, 313 Fairpoint Dr., Gulf Breeze, FL 32561.
