He was predeceased by: his parents, Shant Prashad and Enid J. Hurchuran; and his brother Harrish Prashad. He is survived by: his wife Gala Harricharran; his children, Venita Bejai (Reggie), Sherry Harricharran (Bobby) and Pormaish Harricharran (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Alisha and Adrian Bejai; his siblings, Rajkumari Mohabir (Philip), Premsukh Prashad (Amrita) and Bidya Prashad (Margaret); and his sister-in-law Mona Prashad.
