Oscar Lamar Strickland Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Lamar Strickland (Groveland, Florida), born in Center Hill, Florida, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Dora Mae Strickland; and his siblings, Marguerite Rogers, Melba Odom, Doris Story, Alice Duncan, Marvin Strickland and Jerry Strickland.

He is survived by: his wife Wyona of Groveland; his children, Laquita Beaty (Kerry) of Plant City and Danny Strickland (Joella) of Groveland; and his siblings, Linda Crawford (Johnny) of Center Hill and Jack Strickland (Janice) of Groveland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Midway Baptist Church, Groveland, Florida.
