She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Smith and Emma Smith (Fisher). She is survived by: her husband Ronald Newsome of Groveland, FL; and her children, Norman Newsome of Alabama, Sheri Stokes (John) of Hartsville, SC and Sandra Newsome of Louisiana. She is also survived by sixteen loving grandchildren; three loving great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
