He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dick" James; and his sister Leslie James. He is survived by: his mother Barbara James (Aiken) of Clermont; his wife Debra J. James (Dunn); his son Jared Paul James (Nicole) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; his grandchildren, Amelia and Alexander James; and his siblings, Lynn Gebott (late Randy) of Grand Rapids, Lisa Templin-Rayburn of Clermont, Florida and Richard Alan James of Leesburg, Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
