With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Marie Ward Hamilton of Greenwood, Florida, born in Dunlow, West Virginia, who passed away on July 28, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Roosevelt and Laura Bell Copley Ward; and her siblings, Herbert Ward and Julie Booth. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Hamilton; her children, Deborah Willis of Panama City, Leonard Lunsford of Bradenton, Doug Lunsford (Sherri) of Greenwood, Herbert Lunsford (Bertha) of Greenwood, Andrew Lunsford (Tammy) of Cottondale and Kim Etheridge (Jason) of Webb, AL; her stepchildren, Bill Hamilton (Sandra) of Sparta, WI and Lisa Hamilton of Smartsville, CA; and her siblings, Opal Scott of Fort Gay, WV and Theodore Roosevelt Ward II (Geneva) of Fort Gay, WV. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
